Robert,

How about this?  What is this hexavalent chromium?  What is the issue?

Guys I'm not a chemistry genius but I heard that is a very nasty stuff. It can cause all kinds of health problems like any other type of chemicals if is not handle properly. Just make sure to properly dispose the water with the electrolyte at your nearest hazardous waste materials place (Auto parts) and we all should be fine. The majority of comments I have read say that WHITE DESTILLED VINEGAR  and/or BAKING SODA is the safest form of electrolyte that we can use, the vinegar being the cleanest but less conductive; but as long as we use stainless steel that is an issue and should be dealt with like any other chemical.

Luckliy, or unluckily, I am meeting with a guy tomorow who has started an sintalling these commercially here in canada…he said he does not use any electrolyte, just uses tap water.  He has units ready to show me on cars…but hes still behind the learning curve as he is creating and using an efie, not just hydrogen.  But nonetheless, if it is true and he doesnt use electrolyte but still uses stainless, would he still be leaking chromium into the water…?  Either way I 'm making a cell that produces just hydrogen now, and trying to track down nickel plated copper, or stainless, or something…lol….I will touch base here when I know how this guys cell works without vinegar and produces 4.5 ltr.min…mindboggling….ive been thinking about it all damn day….
